Marigold moment

A familiar sound of bird woke me up… I dared to come out of blanket (despite being a strong believer in ghost and supernatural powers), which I was sharing with my sisters…I peeped out of my old wooden window...following the iron rods of the window and long green leaves of the coconut tree (always standing firm leaning towards our window)…it’s was dawning but still, it’s not gonna be a bright day because black blacky clouds are taking over the blue-saffron sky.

I settled back into the blanket…trying to recall my dream I had last night…it begin to rain. Again reached to the window to have a look, Rain is something which always fascinates me. Especially the raindrop sound and if it is coupled with the freezy breezy air…I wonder nothing less than magical.

     It’s gone in a few minutes. I took a walk to my litchi tree…rain work was done as per its routine since last few weeks...now the green litchi leaves are more greener...the dusky soil is now muddy green…potholes are now waterful…playground of frogs… J

While walking around I saw a part of the ground is covered with a bunch of small newborn marigold flower bushes…they are in numbers…my mind took a flashback and recalled me the day when we “THE KIDO GANG” were playing in that area with marigold flower and consequently we dropped flower petals all over the ground…eventually, the rain nourished those petals to bring the life of new marigold flowers bushes…it was something so beautiful to watch…tiny beautiful well defined soft leaves of marigold bushes… and after a few weeks, the bushes showed off the real beauty…now the bushes were covered with maroon-saffron marigold flower…leaves were replaced with flowers…a little self-grown garden for us…a small gift of rain to us… it was something that I still stored in my heart with all his beauty of new born life…

 So, just see around lil closely and you could find moments for your mind & soul peace…thank god I didn’t miss it…atleast I got few of those…  J
